Q. What does Playa Bikes sell?
A. Playa Bikes offers a large variety of cruiser-style bikes in different colors and styles. One speed to seven speed, foot brakes, hand brakes, flames, you name it. Each of them comes guaranteed to perform - and they look rad too.

Q. Why should I buy from Playa Bikes?
A. Well, simply because you will not find a better cruiser for your money. You'll love your Playa Bike and that's a great feeling.

Q. How do I order?
A. Just follow the instructions on the website. Start at the catalog page, choose the Playa Bike you want, and go through the checkout process. We'll give you a total including shipping (usually $25ish) and will send you an email confirmation.

Q. How are the bikes shipped?
A. All bikes are shipped via FedEx ground and usually take between 4-7 days depending on your location. A tracking number will be emailed to you as soon as the order is processed.

Q. How do I pay you guys?
A. See our catalog page and use Paypal or a credit card, and we'll take care of the rest. All transactions are guaranteed secure and your credit card information will be encrypted and kept absolutely confidential.

Q. What happens after that?
A. The bike will arrive in a box and will need some simple assembly. This should take about 30 minutes. You'll need a socket wrench and a screwdriver - then you'll be ready to hit the streets and show off your new Playa Bike.

Q. What is the warranty for the bikes?
A. The manufactures warranty is as follows:

  • One month for the whole bike and frame and three months all component joint parts.
  • The manufacture will replace any parts failing during the warranty period. The shipping fee will not be covered by the warranty.
  • Unless otherwise provided, the sole remedy under the above warranty or any implied warranty is limited to the replacement of defective parts with those of equal or greater value at the sole discretion of the manufacture. You will be responsible for labor and shipping costs associated with warranty replacements.
Items not covered by warranty
  • Gear or brake adjustments.
  • Any alteration made or aftermarket part installed on bike by customer.
  • Wear and tear to bike, tires or components.
  • Damage as a result of any bike accident
  • Damage attributable to shipping damage

Q. What about shipping damage?
A. We can not be responsible for any damage that occurs as the result of shipping. Do not accept any package with visible shipping damage. We will not be responsible for any damage if the package was visibly damaged when you accepted it.

Q. How do you handle damaged parts?
A. If the box was not visibly damaged when you accepted it and there are some parts of the bike that are damaged or dented, we will need digital pictures of the damage sent along with the initial request. We apologize, but we can not replace damaged parts without digital pictures as proof. If the parts are replaceable, we will do out best to ship you out the new parts as soon as possible and have you riding away in style. We do ask that you, at our expense, ship back the damaged parts to our warehouse.

Q. Do you have store for test rides?
A. We only sell bikes online and do not have a physical store. Though we are looking into one in the Bay Area, for now, we can keep our prices low by saving on rent.

Q. Who should I contact for dealer inquries or high volume orders?

Q. Will you deliver my bike to Burningman?
A. We are not able to deliver any bikes to Burningman.
